i've been writing a lot lately. might need some help work shopping things/themes. i write best when i'm deliriously tired, but that makes for a lot of incoherence.

in poetry class, we had an assignment called free writing where before you go to bed, you zone out in some place quiet and just start writing without overly thinking about what you are writing. the idea is to tap into your subconcious and pull out images, ideas, and abstract thought that are more likely to arise when you're tired when your mind is a bit blurry. you then refine the text into whatever. so, I think it might be best to make it a bit of a routine. you get a lot of it.
