Dead Work:  1. work that is not longer processual or in-process, not related to your current line of thought.  2. Bad Ideas or ideas that were dead on arrival (furry pipe-cleaner models, blind-bar code models, sticks with shiny bangles on them).  3. some student work  4. ideas, design or construction methods that were over your head at the time of origination.  5. Stagnant, possibly promising, streams of thought that may eventually gain new currents.
