it's time to meet your (web)maker
i'm working on some basic layouts for the new web page, which is mainly just a 'who we are'/branding thing as well as links to 3 major pages:
1. feed: everyone has to eat. eventually, every collective member (that wants one) will have a feed. we will also use this space for visiting contributors. we welcome art projects, architectural interventions, writing, curated links/video, and anything else you can pitch as interesting! this might be the closest we get to a zine yet...
2. studio (or blog): where we will hopefully be workshopping ideas/posting all our summer projects (temps and i have found some good competitions already)
3. like on fb: so we look like social beings
which one do you liiiiiiiike???? suggestions??

Aren't we writing ice cream as two words?
W/ the font/positioning: go god awful ugly or just smaller and clean.
Can you put the icon labels off to the side? like in the lower right corner of the blob?
i like the S I C as individual letters/creatures.
the second row, third down stands out to me the most. perhaps justified right, thanks temps!

love the 3 tiny icons. so illusive. i want to click every inch of them. i like that they look like awkward brothers. also color gradient= A++
3 + 3+ 3 in a grid of 3 x 3 if you combine the aforementioned two concepts.
i think it would be more awk=better if the 3 icons were above the sliding text and the text above the three splotches. but that's just me.
should the "like" option lead to more than facebook? might be funny for us to be everywhere social, like myspace, that weird iqons thing we were all a part of, etc etc. could be a project all on its on to design our representation for everything.
should we be paying you, dylan?

thanks for the crits, folks. hali already offered $20, it's basically $107.00 for the next year. due by the 25th of this month. so if me, temps, hali, n va pitch in, we only need 1 more to make it not so bad... i'm broke y'all!
