In Progress
It's a work in progress, but the video version of Coffee Calendar will include a little something to the left and to the right (along with other broke electronics). A printed calendar is in the works with Ros-writing and Soaking Lima Beans. Coffee Calendar (version Beta) on display in Hendrix, Friday, October 16th from 10am until 5pm.

The Homebrew
After not really doing anything all summer and thinking that i have nothing to post i remembered i started a hobby. I have started brewing my own beer. I have made 2 batches (approx. 50 beers each) this summer and starting on a third soon to get ready for the fall season. I will document the process and post once it is complete.
First Beer made- a pale ale, naturally since it is my favorite
it actually turned out decent for my first time ever
second beer- amber ale
still not too bad for just starting
I am trying to decide what to brew next. I am taking suggestions...so feel free to weigh in here. My instinct is to go dark, like a stout or porter.
Anyways, know that i will always have homebrew for any visitors/passerby's. drop in, drink with me, be merry

more befores and [almost]-afters
The larger image is still in the works and nowhere near finished - But I'm hoping my Vertical Farm will stop being a creepy swamp creature [at left, complete with weird swamp plants hanging on it...] and something more along the lines of ... Water + Chicago winters + architectural utopianism = dramatic iceberg. At least, that's the goal.
Also, I keep thinking about what Heine always said: how our projects should never be represented in a gloomy way. That through the colors, the lightness, the playfulness or beauty of our images, we should instill hope in the minds of our viewers.

4: Dirtiest job? au pair for a hot week. oddly, not panera, fogle fine art. i could go on about the estrogen level in that gallery.

6: What are you Wearing? some goodwill t’s, jeans, rainbows, and a new nose piercing. hodge podge art studio semi-chic and topo faces.

Eating? a not quite ripe spanish peach and drinking san miguel. beer. (xibeca)
7: Color penchant? lime greens with shades of grey. i also have a thing for red. every yellow imaginable and pink and purple.
8: Most failed idea? my ideas never fail. blue styrafoam terd martha vertical farm model.
9: Software vice? there are too many love-hates when it comes to technology. either my own hands or text to speech...judge accordingly.
10: Most likely to play you in America’s Next Top Model the Movie? joanie. definitely. jade!
10a: Spice & Spice-Girl of Choice? garlic. sporty, but only because some people would be pissed if i said otherwise. cumin. (not unlike dylan, i like it hot) baby.
