i think constantly about this because my body can feel that it's autumn but everything around me here screams spring. this, more than anything, makes me feel foreign here.

when have we all felt the neon energy of summer but it's grey as dust outside? when have we needed a silent day with snow coming down while everyone else is at the lake? what kind of longing is that, and how does it displace us temporally, physically?
