i am not a graphic designer. be nice. ali really likes this hodge-podgey i printed this myself with 8 million letterpress sets kind of look. it's been a challenge, and criticism is obviously still needed. the size is 3x5, meant to be on the fridge or bulletin board through this winter, promising a summer celebration. crabs are a symbol of the swampy lowcountry, where she will be wed.

it's really kitschy but i think it's cute. the color palette is refreshing. not really my style but if she likes it isn't that all that matters?

i kind of like the fact that it will be on people's refirdgerators during winter/spring. the summer theme is obvious through the graphics and it can provide a little much needed warmth during cold days. light and upbeat. nice job.

i like it man. the diversity of fonts are pretty great, especially the western font. And I think it's cute that your sis and bro-to-be want to take a different route... something more personal, props to them.

one thing i would consider is moving "save 6.4.2011 (with crab)" to the end and decrease the font size. the verse is really nice, and i think it would create a better flow and hierarchy. also, allison and chris could be the same size font since its a marriage of equals and all. don't need to start creating problems where there are none :) And the translucent "&" is distracting since it is the same font but not the same darkness. You could always have the clam clamping down on the two names :)
