maybe not moody, but definitely ethereal. i still want to frame all these!!! i love how the reflection comes from beneath in a different focus than the actual object (can we even call it a bean anymore?)
when you think "moody" are you seeing less color, or more contrast? maybe it needs more depth in the background. although that emerald green is GORGEOUS.
I don't think I like the green. It's nice, but not what I want. I'll post more in natural light, but I think I need to stick to lamps. By moody I guess I mean more shadows and contrast.
these photographs are focused very softly on macro mode and if you don't try to force it, the moodiness will come through the camera. everything is there just make it work.
